Laminitis consults help you create an individualized management program for your horse, especially if your horse has not responded to general treatment. Since no two laminitis cases present in the same way, it is often crucial to a laminitis horse's health to have a customized program that takes into account diet, trimming, Five-Element personality type, vaccination history, and more.
Consults are $200 for the first hour (any additional time is billed via credit card with Dr. Ward) and are conducted by phone (or via email if phone consultation isn't possible) on Fridays only. The first hour includes a 1/2 hour detailed analysis Dr. Ward conducts before your phone consult and about 1/2 hour on the phone reviewing the analysis.

Once you sign up for a consult we will send you an intake form for you to provide the information and set up a time for the initial consult.
Please note: a requirement for these consults is that you work with a barefoot trimmer or a farrier who has had some training in barefoot trimming. Horses within 200 miles of Fischer, Texas must be brought onsite for treatment.
